Suzy & Rusty's Wedding
Thursday afternoon I received a txt. Was I available Friday. In 12 hours. YES I absolutely was!! It was an intimate wedding set in behind the burbs of Mudgeeraba. Im always in complete awe of the surroundings around my home. This one only 15 minutes from it. Sometimes I lack the adventure to explore around my community. Today I found the most beautiful gardens, a High Tea venue, a cafe in the week. A beautiful large bird bath set in the middle of what would normally be the car park.
Today it was transformed. Into the wedding ceremony & reception for Suzy & Rusty whom also own the premises & cafe called Tea Topia. I documented guests arriving, each of them bringing in a plant from their boot. The bride and groom asked they each bring a plant; a token gift for their marriage celebration and which will soon be planted around the already beautiful gardens.
As the bride arrived the guests began to swarm around to catch those first glimpses when she exits the car. The first moments were beautiful. Suzy’s father steps out and the bridesmaids help her out of the car. The ceremony was intimate and the reception was simple yet elegant. Suzy dress was full of incredible lace, the fresh flowers the circled their heads. A senior wedding with flare, a bohemian feel with all the lace. We snuck in and out of rain showers between the photos.
I was honoured to share in this day, meet a beautiful family and share the images which will forever tell their story.
